Job summary

ACCBC is seeking an Enterprise Architect for IT to define and govern the target-state architecture across applications, data, integration, cloud, security, and AI. The role focuses on D365, enterprise integration, Microsoft Fabric, and architecture governance across multi-country operations.

You will lead architecture strategies, define patterns, and ensure cost-effective technology investments while driving business value and the journey to a unified ERP landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, D365 Solution Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, CISSP/CISM/ISO 27001, PMP, PRINCE2 or SAFe are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise target-state architecture and multi-year technology roadmap.
• Translate business priorities into architecture roadmaps, transition states, and investment recommendations.
• Chair the Architecture Review Board/Design Authority with clear decision rights.
• Define architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and reusable patterns.
• Maintain the application portfolio and drive legacy rationalization and debt reduction.
• Advise on build-vs-buy, platform selection and total cost of ownership.
• Own end-to-end D365 solution architecture across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Sales.
• Define D365 environment strategy, ALM, release management, deployment approaches.
• Architect transition between legacy ERP and D365 during rollout.
• Define localization, tax, multi-currency patterns across countries.
• Ensure performance, security, licensing efficiency of D365 architectures.
• Provide architectural oversight for CRM, HR, Procurement, Tax, Audit, and commercial apps.
• Define enterprise integration strategy: APIs, event-driven, messaging, ETL/ELT, B2B/EDI.
• Govern integration platforms like Azure Integration Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Power Platform.
• Establish data models, interfaces, monitoring, security, and observability standards.
• Maintain enterprise interface catalogue and promote reusable patterns.
• Govern integration performance, resilience, and operating cost.
• Define data architecture with Microsoft Fabric: OneLake, lakehouse, warehouse, pipelines, real-time intelligence, Power BI.
• Establish data governance, lineage, master data management, and quality frameworks.
• Support IBP, forecasting, scenario modelling, predictive analytics and AI use cases.
• Evaluate GenAI, Copilot and agentic AI, define AI reference architecture.
• Govern privacy, access control, auditability, bias, and cost management for AI.
• Provide reference implementations and training to enable AI adoption.
• Measure business impact and re-architect or retire low-value use cases.
• Define Azure-based cloud architecture with landing zones, identity, resilience, and cost management.
• Set standards for availability, scalability, DR/BCP; govern hybrid/edge requirements.
• Embed security-by-design and privacy-by-design across solutions.
• Define identity/access architecture, roles, and privileged access control.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Internal Audit, Risk and Legal for regulatory compliance.
• Provide architectural assurance across projects; support business case with TCO.
• Define technical evaluation criteria for RFPs and assess vendor proposals.
• Ensure partners comply with ACCBC standards and quality expectations.
• Maintain architecture documentation and drive governance; mentor staff.
• Act as trusted advisor to business leaders; translate needs into practical tech solutions.
• Mentor architects, developers, and consultants; build AI capability across IT.
• Collaborate to drive effective implementation; maintain current docs.
• Deliverables: architecture roadmaps, reference patterns, and governance artifacts.
