ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT - Banking -ABU DHABI

We have an urgent requirement for an ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT with extensive Banking experience, specifically in Tier-1 international banks in Europe, US, or Singapore, for a bank in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

1. Extensive experience in enterprise architecture roles within banking is essential.
2. Strong expertise in architecture design, cloud technologies, microservices, API management, and data architecture is mandatory.
3. Open Group TOGAF9 Certification is preferred.
4. 10-15 years of experience in the banking industry's technology division is required.
5. Experience in Tier-1 international banks in Europe, US, or Singapore is mandatory and must be clearly demonstrated to apply.

The selection process includes a mandatory 1-hour online test on Gorilla. Please only apply if you can commit to taking this test.

Role Responsibilities:

• Address key enterprise aspects including business processes, strategies, value streams, data, information, and supporting technologies.
• Recommend long-term strategic and operational plans aligned with the bank's business objectives.
• Understand business challenges through discovery sessions and streamline processes to enhance service delivery.
• Provide thought leadership in IT service and solution delivery.
• Study the maturity, adoption, and application of specific technologies.
• Manage application portfolios, including assessment and recommendations to eliminate overlaps.
• Manage IT risk profile in line with enterprise risk management plans.
• Conduct scenario planning and what-if analyses for emerging technologies.
• Define standards and policies for technology processes, products, and patterns.
• Share best practices and update enterprise architecture based on emerging technologies and vendor solutions.
• Analyze complex problems, anticipate future trends, and develop plans and solutions accordingly.
• Ensure proper architectural documentation, prototyping, performance testing, and scalability planning.
