Job summary

edari is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to define and govern the organization’s architecture landscape in Dubai. The role leads governance, architecture standards, and technology portfolio management, with strong LeanIX and cloud capabilities.

You will collaborate across business, delivery, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations, driving solution design and architectural decisions for complex environments. Immediate to 30 days notice preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or related leadership role.
• Hands-on LeanIX experience including lifecycle management, dashboards, and data modelling.
• Strong knowledge of Azure and cloud technologies.
• Experience with API-led, event-driven, and middleware integration patterns.
• TOGAF and ArchiMate knowledge; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, principles, standards, and governance processes.
• Lead architecture governance activities (ARB, design authority reviews).
• Own and administer LeanIX, ensuring accurate documentation and data quality.
• Develop architecture dashboards and reporting for portfolio rationalization and tech debt.
• Design secure, scalable end-to-end architectures across apps, data, infra, and security.

Job description

We are looking to hire an Enterprise Architect who will be responsible for defining, governing, and evolving the enterprise architecture landscape while ensuring technology investments align with business strategy, architecture standards, and governance for our client based in Dubai, which is one of the largest organizations in the region.

This position is a 12-month contract role and is renewable based on performance.

We are looking for a passionate Enterprise Architect with strong experience in enterprise architecture governance, solution architecture, and technology portfolio management. You should also have extensive experience with LeanIX, enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud platforms, application portfolio management, solution design, and technology standardization across complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, principles, standards, and governance processes.
• Lead architecture governance activities, including Architecture Review Boards and design authority reviews.
• Own and administer the LeanIX platform, ensuring accurate architecture documentation and data quality.
• Develop architecture dashboards and reporting for portfolio rationalization, technical debt, lifecycle management, and technology risk.
• Drive application portfolio optimization, technology standardization, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Define and maintain architecture deliverables, including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Key Design Decisions (KDDs), and architecture standards.
• Design secure, scalable, resilient, and supportable end-to-end solution architectures across application, integration, data, infrastructure, and security domains.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate technology solutions, vendors, and proof-of-concepts while documenting architecture decisions, risks, and technical debt.
• Ensure implemented solutions are accurately documented and maintained within LeanIX.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or a similar architecture leadership role.
• Advanced hands‑on experience with LeanIX, including fact sheet modelling, lifecycle management, reports, dashboards, and surveys.
• Experience with ServiceNow (CMDB alignment preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies.
• Experience with API‑led, event‑driven, and middleware integration patterns.
• Solid understanding of enterprise data architecture principles.
• Knowledge of TOGAF and ArchiMate frameworks (certification preferred).
• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise solutions across application, integration, data, cloud/infrastructure, and security domains.
• Experience producing High‑Level Designs (HLDs), architecture diagrams, interface specifications, non‑functional requirements, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and RAID documentation.
• Strong understanding of cloud‑native architectures, API‑first design, identity and access management, resilience, observability, and secure‑by‑design principles.
• Relevant cloud or solution architecture certifications are desirable.
