Skills

Successful candidates will need to:

1. Embody and role model our core values of integrity, empathy and fortitude in everything they do
2. Hold a Bachelors degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
3. Have proven experience of teaching English up to KS5
4. Have a willingness to collaborate and share their outstanding practice
5. Have a growth mindset, whereby they are reflective and solution focused
6. Be creative and enthusiastic in their approach to teaching
7. Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents
8. Have a proven track record of providing outstanding learning & teaching
9. Have aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
10. Be willing to make a positive contribution to our school community and culture through active engagement in our extra-curricular programme and community-based events.

If you are keen to be potentially considered for roles within our schools beginning in September 2024, we are very interested in organising a call with you. GEMS Education will be visiting the UK (London and Manchester) in February 2024, giving candidates the opportunity to interview in person for the next academic year.
