Job summary

SABIS in Dubai seeks a dedicated teacher to implement the SABIS curriculum and teaching methodology. You will use provided lesson plans, assist with exam marking, and support students to reach their potential. You may contribute to exam prep and participate in school events.

The role requires collaboration with the Academic Quality Controller and department head, with additional duties as needed by SABIS management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related subject matter and/or equivalent.
• English proficiency is required.
• MS Office skills and components are needed.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Teach using provided lesson plans and develop plans as needed.
• Mark exams and follow department schedules.
• Discuss student performance with AQC and HOD as needed.
• Implement SABIS point system to create an effective learning environment.
• Invigilate exams and support academically low-performing students.
• Prepare and participate in external exams preparation when applicable.
• Assist with other duties such as supervising lunches/buses and admin tasks.
• Participate in activity planning for student life events with the coordinator.
• Attend training sessions to enhance SABIS system understanding.
