Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to deliver high-quality learning in line with the British Curriculum (Key Stages 3 & 4, including IGCSE Level). The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a love for language and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
  2. Teach across a range of year groups, including preparation for IGCSE examinations.
  3. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress regularly.
  4. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning.
  5. Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
  6. Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events.
  7. Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
  8. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field
  • PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong knowledge of IGCSE English syllabi
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
