Role Description

The English Second Language Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based at Wall Street English in Dubai. The instructor will deliver engaging lessons to adult learners using the center's established methodology and teaching materials, focusing on real-world communication skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Day-to-day tasks include planning and delivering classes, facilitating small group sessions, providing individualized feedback and coaching, and tracking learner progress in alignment with program objectives. The instructor will also participate in placement testing, contribute to curriculum implementation, collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience, and support center events and activities that promote learner engagement and retention.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong instructional skills in English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
• Candidates should possess classroom expertise in Teaching and Curriculum Development.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Linguistics to support accurate language instruction.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field, and TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification are highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated experience teaching adult learners, excellent spoken and written English communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds are required.
