Job summary

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Sharjah is seeking a skilled Engineering & Facilities professional to join our team and maintain hotel tools, appliances, and equipment, including life safety systems. The role requires hands-on maintenance, preventative tasks, and guest repair responses, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Preferred candidates hold a technical, trade, or vocational degree and have at least 2 years of related work experience, with supervisory experience also desirable.

Qualifications

• Educational background in a technical, trade, or vocational field.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, perform preventative maintenance on, and replace tools, appliances and equipment.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters; identify, locate and operate shut-off valves.
• Manage parts inventory and purchase orders; log maintenance activities.
• Inspect equipment, perform life safety tests (fire pump, generator), and assist in disaster response planning.
• Respond to guest repair requests and support management in coaching staff.
• Ensure safety policies, professional appearance, confidentiality, and compliance with procedures.
