Engineering Sales Intern

About this role
At TK Elevator UAE, the New Installation Sales Department oversees the sales of Elevators, Escalators and Moving walks in the upcoming projects of Dubai and Northern Emirates region.

Activities of the Department:

1. Reach out to new and existing clients, consultants and contractors to maintain and develop relationships to generate design and sales leads
2. Provide pre-sales design assistance to architects and consultants with the help of the sales support team through traffic analysis studies and tailor made specifications based on the requirements of the project
3. Study the technical and commercial aspects of tenders/inquiries, co-ordinate with factories and other departments to propose the best solution for the requirements of the project
4. Prepare project specific Tender and pre-qualifications documentation
5. Gather Market and Customer information to analyze the market trends and update the sales strategy accordingly

Reports directly to the Sales Manager. Hands-on experience may include:

1. Assist the Sales Support team to study and analyze technical specifications of projects
2. Assist the Sales Team to estimate and prepare offers for low-rise projects
3. Interact with clients over the telephone to follow up on submitted offers
4. May be involved with new process implementation, involving developing procedures, completing problem analysis, job safety/risk analysis, etc.
5. Work with experts to prepare tenders and reports

1. Bachelor students specializing in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
2. Strong analytical skills
3. Willingness to learn

5. Proficiency in English
6. Good skills in MS Office
