The ES&CO is responsible for assisting the Technical Director with provisions, quality control, and strategic development of the framework for Engineering operations. He will also assist with oversight and operational control of Abu Dhabi Aviation Aircraft in compliance with regulatory requirements.
The ES&CO will monitor engineering standards across all elements of the engineering department, ensuring that operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with regulatory authority and company requirements as stipulated in the AOC and all Engineering Manuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain Compliance Program over CAR-M and Part 145.
- Ensure national aviation regulations are observed and implemented appropriately over CAR-M and Part 145.
- Liaise with competent CAA aviation authority and surveyors as required.
- Manage findings and non-compliance reports.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective action plans and conduct follow-ups to ensure compliance.
- Participate in audits.
- Audit aircraft engineers for certification purposes and verify the validity of equipment and tools calibration.
- Assess and monitor third-party contracted or subcontracted service providers and suppliers to ensure standards are maintained.
- Conduct Management of Change and Risk Assessments for new and ongoing operations.
- Participate in safety investigations and assist with implementing recommendations.
- Monitor the validity of Engineering Manuals and propose amendments as needed.
- Propose revisions and amendments of procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Compliance Manager.
- Ensure compliance with Company Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies, SOPs, Manuals, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits and quality checks.
- Provide guidance, support, and coaching to the team.
- Support the safety department with timely and accurate risk assessments.
- Ensure employees adhere to ADA policies, security, safety regulations, and international standards.
