Job summary

Emirates Flight Catering is seeking a senior Engineering Manager to lead maintenance and plant operations in a fast-paced facility in Dubai. The role oversees safety, quality, project delivery, and equipment reliability, with a focus on ISO 9001:2015 compliance and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in engineering/maintenance, a strong PM background, and relevant certifications (NEBOSH/OSHA). A Master’s in a related field is preferred. UAE national status is required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2015), Maintenance Management, or Safety Standards (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are an advantage.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in engineering, maintenance, or plant operations.

Education Qualification

• Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2015), Maintenance Management, or Safety Standards (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are an advantage.

Work Experience

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in engineering, maintenance, or plant operations, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing, or catering environment.
• Proven track record in managing engineering teams and delivering maintenance or operational projects within budget and timelines.
• Hands-on experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment failures.
• Experience in implementing ISO standards and ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data and recommend process improvements for equipment and team performance.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance practices, including preventive and reactive maintenance strategies.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Expertise in project management, including delivering within timelines, budgets, and specifications.
• Understanding of quality management systems and adherence to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
