Job summary

Talent Seed is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead multiple squads, setting the technical direction and owning delivery across a fast-growing consumer platform. You will work closely with Product to translate strategy into scalable features and stay hands-on in architecture decisions.

You will mentor engineers and drive modernization across large-scale systems while maintaining platform reliability and high quality standards.

Qualifications

8+ years in Software Engineering with at least 2 years in management.
Hands-on technical background with strong architecture knowledge.
Experience leading product delivery in a B2C consumer tech setting.
Proven ability to build and scale engineering teams.
Experience modernising and scaling large-scale platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple engineering and product delivery squads.
Set technical direction and architecture for a large-scale platform.
Work closely with Product to turn strategy into scalable features.
Stay hands-on technically, with architecture and design decisions.
Drive the modernization of legacy systems while maintaining availability.
Establish and maintain SLOs and engineering standards across product areas.
Mentor, develop and grow engineers and engineering leaders.
Introduce and measure the impact of AI tooling across the engineering organisation.
