What you will do

• Provide service under the supervision of the shift engineer, performing repairs related to electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC, refrigeration, interior paint, and decorating as per the Technical Skills List.
• Assist in electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance of motors, starters, breakers, and related equipment throughout the building.
• Maintain logs for all work performed during shifts.
• Maintain and re-lamp all hotel lamps, including socket repairs and replacements.
• Assist with electrical wiring for renovations, outlet additions, motors, and related equipment.
• Set up electrical equipment for exhibits and conventions, including maintenance for presentations.
• Participate in preventative maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment, updating logs accordingly.
• Understand and perform monthly FCU filter replacements and drain chemical pouring.
• Support shift engineers, general mechanics, plumbers, carpenters, and other departments as needed.
• Maintain records for systems such as preventive maintenance, work requests, firefighting panels, and company vehicles.
• Process requisition orders and handle paperwork for accounts payable and departments.
• Oversee and update checklists for all mandatory systems.
• Understand basic GRMS operations and troubleshoot fundamental issues.
• Operate, direct, and dispatch work assignments to engineering staff via telephone and HotSOS system.

What you bring

• Minimum 2 years of technical trade school education or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in administrative tasks is advantageous.
