Job summary

FFT - Hospitalités seeks an Engineering Director to lead distributed engineering teams in a part-time, remote capacity. You will guide architectural decisions, set engineering standards, and ensure high-quality integration with partner platforms.

The role collaborates with product, operations and stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, define scopes, and manage timelines and resources. You will mentor engineers, review designs and code, resolve blockers, and align roadmaps with business goals

Qualifications

• Strong Engineering Management skills, including setting technical direction, defining processes, and overseeing scalable, reliable systems.
• Proven Team Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor engineers, build diverse and inclusive teams, and promote cross-functional collaboration.
• Hands-on Software Development background, ideally in modern web or cloud technologies, with the ability to review code and guide architectural decisions.
• Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and delivery of complex technical initiatives.
• Experience with integration of systems and APIs, ensuring secure, efficient interoperability between internal and external platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Comfort working in a remote, part-time environment, with strong self-organization and time management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
• Experience in hospitality, healthcare, or service-oriented industries is an advantage.
