Job summary

Thales in Abu Dhabi seeks an Engineering Delivery Manager (EDM) to oversee the Project Engineering Lifecycle, including development activities, risk and opportunities, and schedules. The role emphasizes mastering delivery processes, managing technical debt, and coordinating cross-disciplinary teams to guarantee engineering quality for customer solutions.

Qualifications

Relevant work package management or project management role (minimum 5 years).
Strong scheduling, risk management, estimating, progress reporting, stakeholder management skills.
Experience in a multi-discipline and multi-cultural environment on a complex system.
Experience producing IVVQ artefacts: test and acceptance plans, test and acceptance reports.

Responsibilities

Conduct all work packages activities: organization, scheduling, effort & budget control, risk & opportunities management.
Conduct and manage reviews with the customer (e.g. PMR reviews).
Manage and coordinate activities with project teams (system engineering, infrastructure & cyber security IVVQ).
Liaise with the Project Manager and head of disciplines for all aspects of the work package, especially resources and skills management.
Coordinates IVVQ activities to ensure the success of the work package.
