We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Engineering Assistant – General Technician to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and water systems)
• Support guest room and public area upkeep to ensure comfort and safety
• Assist in minor installations and construction to reduce outsourcing
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies
• Maintain cleanliness and order in plant rooms and work areas
• Follow safety procedures and participate in emergency drills
• Present a professional image while working in guest areas
• Support environmental and energy-saving initiatives
• Uphold IHG values and work as a dependable team member
  
  

What We need from you:

• High school graduate or certified in a relevant vocational/technical course
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Electrician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols
• Able to read electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals
• Skilled in using electrical test equipment and tools
• Basic understanding of emergency procedures (e.g., fire, gas leak, electrical failure)
• Good communication in English (spoken and written)
• Positive attitude, reliable, and well-groomed
• Able to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to change
