Role : Engineer – Site Reliability

Location : Abu Dhabi

The Opportunity

Seeking a meticulous and expert Engineer - Site Reliability to build and support the Presight delivery model that empowers product & technology teams to develop & deliver high-quality products, improve platform infrastructure and strengthen the reliability of products and solutions. You play a key role in defining & establishing the delivery model deployed in the development of cutting edge, next-gen analytics solutions & services at Presight.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

• Work with relevant stakeholders to define scope, specifications, and architecture for all services in the CI / CD pipeline that support Presight’s delivery model.
• Foster a positive SRE culture promoting frequent releases, automation, and reliability.
• Lead and troubleshoot high-priority incidents, providing support for quick resolution.
• Identify application patterns & analytics to support better service level objectives, integrating self-service & resiliency patterns.
• Review and improve CI / CD principles and service maturity iteratively.
• Collaborate to propose, architect, and implement innovative solutions for Presight.
• Champion SRE approaches to predict & prevent disruptive events and enhance solution availability.
• Design and enable automated change, release, and upgrade practices.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance standards and practices.
• Improve service availability and scalability through tuning, automation, tools, and processes.
• Manage 24X7 on-call support.
• Analyze service performance, identify bottlenecks, and develop improvement plans.
• Serve as primary contact for customer matters, developing trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders.
• Comply with QHSE, Business Continuity, Security, Privacy, and Risk policies.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3-4 years experience with CI / CD tools and DevOps processes.
• Experience with Kubernetes cluster deployment and upgrades.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Linux, Kubernetes, and Python.
• Experience with Azure or other public clouds.
• At least 3 years of experience in architecture and understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
