Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• Network / Service Performance Monitoring
• Security Incident Response
• Control & Support Planned Activities/Incidents
• 1st Level Routine Maintenance
• Site Control (Remote)
• Event Management including Trouble Ticket Management
• Ensures escalation matrix is followed to meet the target SLAs
• Initiate & Manage Performance and acceptance requests.
• Preparing necessary reports
• Using SOC Special Tools in Network Operation

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Monitoring role in Telecom/Communication industry.
• Good understanding of GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G technologies and Network Elements.

Skills:

• 3 years of strong telecom knowledge and experience in the following technologies:
• Nokia, Huawei and Ericsson 2G/3G/4G/5G Technologies.
• Huawei Microwave RTN900/RTN300.
• Nokia Flexi Hybdrid, Flexi Packet/ MW FPH800 and Nokia MPR MW
• WLAN and OFDM/wireless technologies.
• Good knowledge of Cisco APs (Indoor and Outdoor).
• Good knowledge of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax WLAN standards.
• Must be able to work effectively in a 24 x 7 x 365 environment;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, to prioritize, and demonstrate excellent follow-through on each task assigned.
• Works well within a team and ability to build relationships cross-functionally.
• Knowledge of network implementation / integration processes.
• Monitoring all day-to-day activities within Service Operations Centre.
• Good Liaison between SOC and other departments like Customer Services, L2/L3 Support, and Field Operations.
• Ensure the operations and network KPIs are met with the highest quality and standards.
• Plan and perform on-job training whenever required.
• Ability to work under pressure and to be able to handle network crises and emergencies.
