Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineer - Planning - Marine to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. In this role you will be responsible for planning and coordinating marine engineering projects ensuring efficient execution and compliance with maritime regulations.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules resource allocation plans and budgets for marine engineering projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project workflows and ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Analyze project requirements and create detailed engineering plans for marine vessels and offshore structures
  • Utilize CAD software to prepare technical drawings and specifications for marine systems
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for marine engineering projects
  • Ensure compliance with local and international maritime safety regulations and standards
  • Coordinate with shipyards suppliers and contractors to facilitate project execution
  • Monitor project progress identify potential issues and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Prepare and present technical reports and project status updates to stakeholders
  • Continuously improve planning processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and project outcomes

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine engineering or related field with a focus on project planning and coordination
  • Proficiency in project management software and CAD applications (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks)
  • Strong knowledge of marine engineering principles vessel design and offshore structures
  • Familiarity with maritime safety regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required
