Job summary

Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company in Dubai seeks an experienced NOC Engineer to monitor wireless networks, manage shift operations, and escalate issues per the escalation matrix. The role requires 5+ years in NOC, 24x7 availability, and strong troubleshooting skills with tools such as Huawei NCE, NFMP, PRTG, Cisco Prime, Ericsson ENM, Nokia NetAct.

Proficiency in Python, Power BI, and SQL is desirable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in NOC operations
• Ability to work in a 24x7x365 environment
• Proven expertise in network troubleshooting and incident resolution
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Huawei NCE, NFMP, PRTG, Cisco Prime, Ericsson ENM, Huawei U2020, Nokia NetAct
• Strong programming and automation skills: Python, Power BI, and SQL; able to develop automated workflows and dashboards
• Knowledge of Radio Access Network (RAN) including 2G/3G/4G/5G and Cisco Wi-Fi

Responsibilities

• Timely escalation of critical network issues to service partners, stakeholders, and management team as per escalation matrix
• Perform traffic re-engineering, links capacity upgrade and node version upgrade to handle KPI degradation
• Initiate & Manage performance and acceptance requests
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify all wireless network related issues

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• Network / Service Surveillance and Team Handling during the Shift.
• Reporting Critical and Major issue to Management as per the process.
• Timely escalation of critical network issues to service partners, stakeholders, and management team as per company escalation matrix
• Management Notification & Escalation as per the company escalation matrix.

• Excellent understanding of wireless broadband technologies and related technologies.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify all wireless network related issues and other related impairments escalated from other departments.

• Strong expertise in programming and automation, with hands-on experience in Python, Power BI, and SQL for data management and analysis.
• Skilled in developing automated workflows and dashboards to improve operational efficiency.
• Technical/Process leader for the Operation and Maintenance of the Mobile and Wireless Networks.
• Excellent knowledge for Radio Access Network including NSN/Huawei/Ericsson 2G/3G/4G/5G; Cisco Wi-Fi, RTN Transmission and AAA.

Skills

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with wireless products from Huawei, Nokia…etc
• Strong understanding and experience with Cisco wireless access points, both indoor and outdoor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel automation and VBA scripting.
• Continuously learning and adapting to emerging technologies in automation, AI, and data science.
• Handle and manage Network Incidents within SLA.
