Responsibilities:

• Work with Team of Engineers in Radio and Fixed Access Domain for technical issues.
• Acting as Subject Matter Expert for RAN Setup and for 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G and 5G SA Radio Access Technologies. Understand IP Back-Haul.
• Provide the needed-on time support and troubleshooting for all issues that occur in RAN domain for 2G, 3G, 5G and controllers.
• Do the needful escalation and involve vendors in a timely manner in case of need, ensuring adequate follow-up and problem resolution within contracted SLAs.
• Perform periodic analysis of performance reports and observations to proactively prevent issues from occurring.
• Overall responsibility for periodic reviews of device configurations to remove any incorrect or unnecessary configurations.
• Resolve Network and Customer Trouble Tickets for enterprise and Consumer setup for FWA setup.
• Handle daily Trouble Tickets as per EITC operation policies and scope of work.
• Oversee the provisioning of periodic and ad-hoc reports to the planning team to assist in capacity planning and critical nationwide events.
• Provide updates for RFO (Reason for Outage) and follow up on all recommendations to avoid recurrence of similar faults.
• Assist different planning teams/Acceptance Team in all Network Nodes Integrations, propose/attend ATP to assure redundancy, symmetry, and best integration practices.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation/diagrams of existing devices/solutions to assist in troubleshooting issues and share them with other technical teams if required.
• Work closely with planning teams on capacity planning, upgrades, and design issues related to existing solutions.
• Perform periodic health checks and preventive maintenance service of BSC/RNC and VVVIP sites, checking redundancy with the transmission team.
• Ensure that all network elements and support systems are appropriately redundant and backed up in accordance with agreed policies wherever applicable.
• Implement patches and updates for BSC/RNC and eNODEBs and gNODEBs based on business requirements driven by the Quality Management team.
• Ensure consistency of network configuration and configuration database.
• Prioritize & ensure the execution of performance and preventive maintenance-related issues as the owner of the platform.
• Coordinate with acceptance for all changes in the network and ensure that the knowledge base is updated.
• Ensure monitoring and analysis of vendor performance as well as managing the vendor relationship together with the Vendor Management Organization.
• Develop technical reports and documentation.
• Work on any network disasters, prepare and implement alternative plans, and restore the network to deliver specified service levels.
• Support all efforts for releasing DR run-books to allow for successful service restoration in case of crisis.
• SME should be ready to go to Mobile sites or Customer locations and have the ability to fix ACTIVE RAN solutions.
• Inventory management of Hardware and TRACKING EOS software. Review, approve, prepare MOP and implement CRs for different business needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering.
• Leadership and management certifications.

Experience:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Telecom Domain.
• Knowledge of 2G, 3G, LTE, 5G, and 5G SA RAN technologies.
• Knowledge of Open RAN is an added advantage along with Fixed Access Back-Haul and MPLS understanding.
• Experience in relationship management inside and outside the organization.
• Exposure to Virtualization and related operational techniques.
• Experience with Nokia, Huawei, and Ericsson RAN Nodes.
• Understanding of IP Protocols and MPLS Networking.
• CCNA and similar certifications will be an advantage.
