We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with specialized experience in spherical tank design and fabrication to support the engineering, procurement, and construction of pressure vessels and gas storage systems. The role involves reviewing technical specifications, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, and coordinating with design, fabrication, and site teams.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Review and support the design and detailing of spherical tanks and associated piping systems.

  • Ensure designs comply with ASME, API, and local regulatory standards.

  • Prepare and review technical submittals, material specifications, and equipment datasheets.

  • Coordinate with design consultants, fabricators, and site teams for timely execution.

  • Support inspection, testing, and commissioning of spherical tanks and related systems.

  • Identify and resolve mechanical design or fabrication issues.

  • Prepare progress reports, calculations, and technical documentation as required.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with proven exposure to spherical tanks or pressure vessels.

  • Strong knowledge of ASME Sec VIII, API 620/650, and welding/fabrication practices.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools.

  • Familiarity with project execution in oil & gas or industrial plant environments.

  • Strong technical communication and coordination skills.

  • Ability to work in both office and field environments.
