Job Title :

Engineer (Mechanical / Electromechanical)

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct engineering studies related to MEP field to provide recommendations based on study results.
  • Prepare clear MEP scope of work for transmission projects, review amendments, technical queries, and technical offers during tendering.
  • Review and comment on design drawings, documents, materials, BIM models, and vendor submissions for quality and compliance.
  • Attend factory inspections to ensure product compliance with standards and document results.
  • Participate in technical and progress meetings to resolve issues and ensure project progress.
  • Liaise with DEWA departments to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in raising change requests for future projects to optimize and standardize specifications.
  • Help ensure materials conformity and approvals according to standards.
  • Investigate issues through feedback mechanisms.
  • Conduct site visits and quality audits to verify work compliance and gather feedback.
  • Drive corporate excellence through innovation and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety standards.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electromechanical / Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in MEP.
  • Problem-solving skills and knowledge of international standards (IEEE, IEC, BS).
  • Proficiency in technical report writing.
  • Experience with engineering design software (e.g., BIM, Revit) preferred.
