Job description

To provide Instrumentation & Control (I&C) related engineering support to the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Technical Proposal/Feasibility Study
   1. Review/perform technical feasibility studies for brownfield/greenfield projects.
   2. Prepare technical proposals for new projects.
2. Technical Support for Operating Assets
   1. Review/perform engineering studies related to the operation and performance of assets and recommend solutions.
   2. Review Management of Change Requests (MOC) as per approved procedures.
3. Engineering Review during Project Execution
   1. Review and approve engineering submittals from contractors, ensuring compliance with technical performance standards.
   2. Resolve technical issues during project execution.
4. Asset Document Management
   1. Establish and manage processes to maintain accurate and up-to-date technical information of operating assets.
   2. Utilize Document Management Systems effectively for storing and retrieving Master As-Built Drawings.
5. Tender Process Management
   1. Prepare technical tender packages.
   2. Gather feedback from stakeholders (O&M, Customer, HSE) and incorporate necessary changes.
   3. Review technical submissions from bidders and ensure compliance with specifications.
   4. Review deviation requests according to internal processes.
   5. Identify value engineering opportunities and propose cost-effective design and material alternatives, updating specifications and vendor lists as needed.
   6. Manage relationships with major equipment suppliers (e.g., chillers, pumps).

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, particularly in construction and maintenance.
• Valid UAE driving license.
