Short Description for Internal Candidates

The Facility Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all facilities within their area, including infrastructure, operate smoothly and efficiently in accordance with organizational goals and standards. This includes conducting regular inspections, documentation, compliance assurance, and quality control.

Description for Internal Candidates

  • Supervision:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the specific area or facility.
  • Support in resolving operational issues and emergencies promptly, including responding to equipment breakdowns or safety incidents.
  • Conduct routine inspections to assess condition, safety, and compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Maintenance:
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities to ensure safety, compliance, and proper functioning.
  • Ensure scheduled maintenance and repairs are performed according to SLAs.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
  • Promote safety culture, enforce protocols, conduct training, and mitigate hazards.
  • Report HSE findings and incidents within specified timeframes.
  • Quality Control:
  • Ensure maintenance work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Assist with audits and inspections, maintaining necessary documentation.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Manage external service providers and monitor their performance.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Maintain and properly manage assets, equipment, and materials.
  • Client and Tenant Relations:
  • Maintain good relationships, address concerns, and respond promptly to service requests.
  • FM Project Supervision:
  • Supervise FM projects from RFQ to completion, including testing, commissioning, and documentation.
  • Technical Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare performance reports, inspection reports, and maintain records of activities and documentation.
  • Utilize CMMS for data management and task tracking.
  • Maintain asset registers, support asset condition and lifecycle reporting.
