Job description

Position: Engineer – Facilities Management Hard Services

We are seeking an Engineer to join our Integrated Facilities Services team in Dubai. The role involves supporting the facilities manager and clients in managing daily operations of all FM services, ensuring the facility is maintained, functional, and safe. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance, coordinating with vendors, managing soft services, ensuring safety compliance, and executing facility projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial:
    • Prepare monthly operational reports to review contract performance.
    • Ensure FM services are delivered as per the contracted scope and resources.
    • Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
    • Manage project service delivery to meet SLA/KPI standards.
    • Propose initiatives that add value and align with client business goals.
    • Deliver FM services in line with contractual SLA/KPI to avoid penalties.
  2. Customer Relations:
    • Coordinate training for staff and maintain records.
    • Monitor service level agreements and resolve issues promptly.
    • Coordinate procurement activities with the procurement team.
    • Manage specialist service contractors/vendors.
    • Report staff attendance and adhere to HR policies.
    • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure high service standards.
    • Develop strong client relationships and hold regular meetings.
    • Conduct site visits to assess staff performance and address client concerns.
  3. Process Management:
    • Manage service delivery according to industry standards and regulations.
    • Order and manage project equipment and machinery.
    • Conduct staff induction and ongoing training.
    • Manage procurement and resource utilization.
    • Prepare for staff meetings and site briefings.
    • Coordinate timely invoicing with admin and finance teams.
  4. Innovation:
    • Identify energy management opportunities and seek guidance from the energy manager.
    • Introduce new technologies, develop case studies, and prepare ROI proposals.
