Job description

Job Purpose

Monitor, coordinate, provide technical expertise, and perform activities related to Electrical Maintenance at ADNOC-owned properties, including Residential and VIP villas, as well as other owned and leased properties within Abu Dhabi City and Ruwais City. The goal is to achieve high operational efficiency and ensure a long functional life. This includes designing, planning, installing, operating, maintaining, expanding, and upgrading various electrical/electronic systems.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Operation and Maintenance Services
    • Provide technical guidance and monitor all electrical maintenance activities of assigned staff, service providers, and related services to ensure system integrity as per SLAs, KPIs, and operational standards for ADNOC properties, including office buildings and VIP accommodations in and outside Abu Dhabi.
    • Prepare and approve annual preventive and predictive maintenance programs, ensuring they are aligned with failure data and operating conditions. Audit work carried out by service providers for quality, appropriate spares, and timeliness.
    • Analyze maintenance schedules and performance, investigate delays, and implement corrective actions. Provide technical assistance to resolve equipment issues.
    • Guide supervisors in preparing maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with manufacturer and engineering standards to maintain ADNOC assets.
    • Supervise operations from BMS control rooms, ensuring best practices and reporting non-conformities.
    • Inspect properties and VIP villas, estimate maintenance costs, and prioritize tasks. Coordinate with contractors for modifications and continuous electrical system availability.
    • Plan for equipment and spares procurement, ensuring timely availability and quality inspection.
  2. Job Specific Accountabilities
    • Review contractor quotations, approve petty works, and verify invoices for payment.
    • Implement PPM plans, checklists, method statements, and risk assessments.
    • Participate in contractor evaluations, review progress reports, and payment certificates.
    • Provide technical advice on layouts, installations, and upgrades; review drawings and reports; propose improvements.
    • Prepare activity reports highlighting issues and recommendations.
  3. Modifications and Projects
    • Prepare feasibility studies, drawings, and cost estimates for electrical modifications and expansions.
    • Coordinate with project teams on ongoing and upcoming electrical projects until handover.
    • Develop technical specifications and scope of work for tenders and maintenance requirements.
    • Ensure quality management and LEED compliance for modifications.
  4. Energy Saving
    • Participate in energy management system implementation and monitor energy-saving actions.
    • Coordinate energy audits and risk assessments for ADNOC properties and affiliates.
    • Develop operational plans to minimize energy consumption and ensure LEED O&M requirements are up to date.
Minimum Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
  • At least 6 years of professional experience in electrical maintenance within a large organization.
  • Experience in inventory control and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Ability to plan and schedule work for staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional Certifications

PMP/CFM Certificate (Preferred).
