Data Pipeline Development & Management

Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) or Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes to integrate data from various sources (e.g., operational systems, third-party platforms, databases) into data warehouses or data lakes.

Develop and optimize SQL queries, scripts, and programming logic for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy throughout the data lifecycle.

Data Warehousing & Modeling

Assist in the design and implementation of data warehouse solutions, including data modeling (e.g., dimensional modeling, star schema) to support analytical and reporting requirements.

Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and cost-efficiency.

Maintain and enhance existing data models and structures based on evolving business needs.

Analytical Tool & Report Development

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to present key insights to stakeholders.

Collaborate with business users to understand their analytical needs and translate them into technical requirements for data solutions.

Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Data Governance & Security Support

Support data governance initiatives, ensuring adherence to data standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Implement data security measures and access controls to protect sensitive information.

Assist in data auditing and reconciliation activities to ensure data integrity.

Collaboration & Problem Solving

Work closely with Data Scientists, Business Analysts, IT Infrastructure teams, and various business units to deliver integrated data solutions.

Troubleshoot data-related issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

Stay updated with emerging data technologies and analytical trends, recommending innovative solutions.

Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with DHCM’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Policy, governance framework, and standards by conducting all tasks according to HSE procedures, attending mandatory training, actively reporting hazards, near misses, or incidents, and utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as identified in risk assessments.

Experience with ETL / ELT tools and processes.

Hands-on experience with at least one major BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense).

Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Google Cloud Dataflow) is a plus.

Experience with programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation is a plus.
