Support And Analysis Engineering (SAE) Engineer assumes complete engineering responsibility for assigned company proposals, projects, investigations, aircraft & components reliability programs, and other activities under the guidance of the workplace supervisor. Operate within cross-functional teams (engineering, maintenance, quality, logistics, etc.) to achieve overall program objectives. Satisfy all sections and customer requirements, including customer satisfaction, cost, quality, and safety.
Will also be responsible for
- Provide engineering assistance, technical expertise, and guidance to the entire aircraft maintenance, servicing, inspection process, components, and system reliability, as well as procurement activities.
- Develop new or update existing maintenance procedures, guidance, repair schemes, instructions, and local modifications in accordance with company procedures.
- Provide technical support regarding manufacturer’s bulletins, service letters, and modifications analysis/review.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation necessary to satisfy customer and maintenance program requirements, including proposals, procedures, reports, and correspondence.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis, lifecycle asset analysis, and provide trending analysis on quality issues; calculate aircraft reliability performance parameters, such as MTBF and MTBUR from reliability databases.
- Investigate PQDR, MEC, Oil Analysis Discrepancy Feedback, and other technical reports to determine root causes, gather and analyze data, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate and participate in investigations related to customer complaints.
- Define maintenance requirements and justify acceptance limits to ensure compliance with standards.
- Review procurement documents for quality requirements and oversee incoming inspection plans, acceptance criteria, and nonconformance resolutions.
- Maintain technical liaison with OEMs, suppliers, contractors, test laboratories, and other groups through effective communication.
- Provide technical support for maintenance and workshop regarding CPC and OAP programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by upper management.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures and internal techniques.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical, or Avionics Engineering required.
- A&P, FCC, or equivalent license preferred.
- Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, testing, maintenance, or modification of airframes, engines, avionics, or airframe systems.
- Experience with fixed-wing and/or rotary-wing aircraft is preferred.
- Experience in analyzing mechanical components and electronic equipment.
- Knowledge of aircraft regulatory requirements and maintenance documentation.
- Advanced computer skills, especially in condition monitoring, stress analysis, and design software.
