Job summary

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES in Dubai seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team, focusing on forensic engineering for heavy industrial structures and engineered solutions for owners, engineers and contractors. We are expanding presence in Dubai with projects across the region.

The role involves supervising design activities, leading project studies, coordinating documents, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering technical presentations using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, RAM Concept, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• SE registration (DM) and SOE membership advantageous.
• Experience supervising personnel and managing design activities.
• Familiar with regulations and industry codes and standards.
• Lead initial project studies and help develop the sale approach.
• Understands technical issues impacting project cost and schedule.
• Capable of resolving technical and construction issues with third parties.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate documents and activities for major projects.
• Advanced understanding of repair materials and strengthening solutions.
• Supervision of one or two junior engineers
• Ability to mentor junior engineers
• Develop plan and delegate to team members per customer requirements.
• Makes timely decisions to maintain team progress.
• Dedicated to quality and safety culture.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrates ability to deliver technical presentations
• Demonstrates ability to conduct effective meetings
• Ability to develop advanced structure models and perform gravity and lateral analysis using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 or RAM Concept
• Ability to use ADAPT PT and ADAPT Floor to develop design

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES develops engineered solutions that sustain and enhance infrastructure across a broad range of end-user markets. We serve owners and managers of infrastructure, as well as designers, engineers, and general contractors, across the U.S. and in select international markets.

Key Candidate Selection Criteria

• Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• SE registration at DM and have SOE membership is an advantage.
• Knows basic requirements for supervising personnel and how to manage design activities.
• Familiar with regulations and industry codes and standards.
• Can participate and lead initial project studies and help develop the sale approach.
• Understands technical issues their impact on project cost and schedule.
• capable of resolving technical and construction issues with third parties (customer, engineers, suppliers, and officials)
• Can plan, schedule, and coordinate documents and activities for major projects.
