Join our Engine Maintenance Centre, a cutting-edge maintenance facility, where we deliver exceptional Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services for the engines of Emirates fleets. Our integrated team excels in Engine Technical Services (ETS), Propulsion Planning and Logistics, and more, all within our advanced Engine Shops and Test Cell. With a strong commitment to quality and safety, we streamline processes to strip, inspect, and rebuild engines seamlessly in one state-of-the-art location. As an Engine Overhaul Technician - NDT, you will mentor mechanics and carry out NDT Inspections on all types of aircraft engines, engine systems, and engine components at the Engine Maintenance Centre (EEMC), holding approval to certify your own tasks in accordance with Airworthiness requirements of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and company procedures.

In this role, you will:

  • Carry out regular maintenance and repair work on engines, modules, and piece parts, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and reassembly.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are clean, organized, and in good condition before starting maintenance tasks.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by Lead Technician / Engineer and Line Manager as per OEM data and EEMC documentation and procedures.
  • Monitor the activities of peers and new technicians, providing mentoring and guidance to ensure safe and efficient work.
  • Accurately complete tasks using knowledge of engine overhaul processes, company procedures, and reference manuals such as the Engine Shop Manual (ESM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), and Component Maintenance Manual (CMM). Ensure paperwork and MRO ERP (IFS) system tasks are completed in accordance with procedures.
  • Maintain attendance according to shift patterns, accurately record clock-in and clock-out times, and actively prevent delays to improve turnaround time and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding engine issues, repair progress, and maintenance recommendations.
  • Stay updated on the latest engineering procedures, quality assurance notes, technical notes, tools, and repair techniques through continuous education and training.
  • Create and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety standards and promptly reporting hazards, incidents, and injuries.
