Job description

Purpose We are seeking a dedicated Energy Specialist Engineer, accredited in LEED and Estidama, to lead the optimization of energy consumption across all facilities. The role involves implementing effective energy management strategies that enhance system performance, reduce operational costs, and ensure compliance with sustainability goals and regulatory requirements. Job Description • Monitor and analyze energy consumption (electricity, water, gas, chilled water) using BMS/EMMS and sub-metering systems, identify inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions. • Conduct energy audits and site inspections to identify improvement opportunities and develop actionable optimization reports. • Develop, implement, and assess Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) in coordination with maintenance teams, including ROI and lifecycle cost analysis. • Support Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) by advising on energy-efficient operational practices and ensuring alignment with conservation objectives. • Ensure compliance with sustainability frameworks (LEED, Estidama, ISO 50001) and local regulations, while leading energy- related training and awareness initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy Engineering, or a related field • Estidama and/or LEED approved • Minimum 10 years of experience. • Mandatory certifications: CEM (Certified Energy Manager), CMVP, CWEP, or CFM • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, BMS, and energy auditing practices
