Job summary

Remotedxb is seeking an experienced endocrinologist to deliver telemedicine care focused on obesity and diabetes management. You will oversee insulin protocols, CGMs, and insulin pumps while guiding a team of APPs and Registered Dietitians.

The role requires board certification in Endocrinology and a valid medical license, with a minimum of 5 years as an attending endocrinologist. Remote-friendly with rotating after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• ABIM Board certification in Endocrinology.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in AL, TN, OK, MO, IN, SC, or GA.
• Current LOQ with the IMLC.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an attending physician in endocrinology.
• Expertise in advanced diabetes management (CGMs, insulin pumps, complex regimens).
• Competency in managing CKD, ESRD, and CAD/CV conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in telemedicine focusing on obesity and diabetes management.
• Manage complex insulin titration, insulin pumps, and CGMs.
• Collaborate with and supervise APPs and Registered Dietitians.
• Review APP patient charts every third visit to ensure quality and continuity.
• Manage patients with complex co-morbidities including CKD, ESRD, and cardiovascular conditions.
• Prescribe non-controlled medications for obesity and diabetes.
• Participate in a rotating after-hours call schedule.
• Conduct weekly collaborative meetings and mentorship sessions with assigned APPs.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• ABOM certification in Obesity Medicine
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in obesity medicine and pharmacotherapy
• Experience working with APPs, residents, or trainees in academic settings
• Medical fluency in Spanish
