Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Employment Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in employment law, providing counsel on issues such as workplace compliance, employee relations, labor disputes, and litigation. This role requires a proactive professional who can advise and represent clients effectively in all aspects of employment law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal counsel on employment law matters including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour laws, and employee rights.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, policies, and contracts.
  • Represent clients in disputes, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
  • Conduct legal research and stay current on federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Advise HR and management teams on compliance and best practices to prevent legal risks.
  • Handle matters related to wrongful termination, workplace safety, and labor negotiations.
  • Manage employment-related litigation, including drafting motions, pleadings, and responses.
  • Assist with internal investigations and audits.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active state bar membership (in good standing).
