Employee Relations Assistant (Temporary Position Only Until Feb 2014)

POSITION IS TEMPORARY UNTIL FEBRUARY 2014

Assist the Senior Officer/Officer in all employee relation activities to ensure and maintain employee motivation and communication, contributing to satisfactory productivity and high morale. Ensure that applicable employee-related services are provided to employees and other HR customers in a timely and accurate manner, and communicated effectively.

Employee Relations Onshore Activities
  1. Initiate effective implementation of company policies and procedures, ensuring all onshore Employee Relations (ER) activities and processes adhere to stipulated policy guidelines.
  2. Assist the Senior Officer and Officers onshore in employee relation processes to ensure employee satisfaction.
  3. Update employee leave records, arrange leave advances/salaries, emergency leave, loans, allowances, educational assistance, and update employee data in the HR Access System. Maintain monthly statistics reports for all actions.
  4. Update new hire employees' personal and compensation data accurately and timely in the system.
  5. Participate in contract renewal processes for contracted employees.
  6. Assist in preparing the company's annual manpower budget as necessary.
  7. Maintain proper sick leave and medical records for all employees, coordinate medical examinations with the Administration department, and liaise with ADNOC CMB for medical issues and approvals.
  8. Assist in the appraisal process exercise.
  9. Prepare PA for ER services, ensure distribution to Payroll and Finance departments on time, and communicate with users as necessary.
  10. Relationship Management

    Develop and maintain effective business relationships with relevant internal departments and external entities.

    Knowledge
  • Secondary Education: completed a minimum of 12 years of education.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in a similar field.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced office setting.
  • Experience in planning and delivering employee relations initiatives.
  • Strong correspondence skills.
  • Computer literate.
