Job summary

Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital in the Northern Emirates seeks an experienced Registered Nurse - Emergency to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with DOH/DHA regulations and organizational standards. You will assess, stabilize, and manage patients with urgent and emergent conditions within a fast-paced ED environment.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure evidence-based practice, and uphold safety and documentation standards while supporting patient and family

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent must be held.
• Valid DOH license required.
• 3–5 years of Emergency Department experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS is an advantage.
• Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care including assessment, triage, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide timely and safe interventions per evidence-based guidelines and pathways.
• Administer medications and manage emergency equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary team; escalate critical cases promptly.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per organizational policies.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment, discharge instructions, and preventive health measures.
• Contribute to a safe environment by adhering to quality, safety, and infection-control standards.
