Applicants should hold recognised qualifications such as ABEM, UK CCT/FRCEM, EBEM, Royal College Canada, FACEM or Arab Board and be eligible for UAE licensing.

Qualifications

• Internationally trained Emergency Medicine Consultant with recognised specialty qualifications.
• Eligibility for UAE licensing and facility credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment and stabilisation of emergency, trauma, cardiac, medical, surgical and pediatric presentations.
• Run resuscitation, airway management, procedural sedation and critical decision‑making in the emergency department.
• Triage complex cases, supervise emergency teams and coordinate timely specialist referrals.
• Ensure safe patient flow, observation unit decisions, transfers and discharge planning.
• Participate in disaster preparedness, trauma protocols, simulation training and clinical governance.

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its high-acuity emergency department, trauma and resuscitation services and is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Consultant to join its growing clinical team. Role Overview

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assessment and stabilisation of emergency, trauma, cardiac, medical, surgical and pediatric presentations
• Run resuscitation, airway management, procedural sedation and critical decision‑making in the emergency department
• Triage complex cases, supervise emergency teams and coordinate timely specialist referrals
• Ensure safe patient flow, observation unit decisions, transfers and discharge planning
• Participate in disaster preparedness, trauma protocols, simulation training and clinical governance
• Maintain accurate emergency documentation, medico-legal compliance and patient safety standards

Requirements
