Job summary

TalentSpoc invites an experienced Specialist Emergency Medicine Physician to join our UAE healthcare facility in Dubai. The clinician will deliver high-quality emergency care to patients with acute illnesses and traumatic injuries.

The role emphasizes prompt decision-making, teamwork with nursing and specialists, and participation in training and quality initiatives. Candidates should have MBBS and postgraduate EM qualification and at least 3 years post-specialization experience.

Qualifications

• MBBS or an equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine (MD, DNB or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
• Experience in emergency resuscitation, trauma management, and acute patient care.
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute emergencies.
• Perform emergency stabilization, resuscitation, and life-saving interventions.
• Manage trauma cases, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress and other critical conditions.
• Prioritize patients based on urgency and ensure timely treatment.
• Coordinate with specialists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Arrange investigations, treatment, admissions or referrals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow ED protocols.
• Contribute to patient safety initiatives and ED quality improvement.

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute medical and surgical emergencies
• Perform emergency stabilization, resuscitation, and life‑saving interventions
• Manage trauma cases, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, and other critical conditions
• Prioritize patients based on clinical urgency and ensure timely treatment
• Coordinate with specialists, nursing teams, and other healthcare professionals
• Arrange appropriate investigations, treatment, admissions, or referrals
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow established emergency care protocols
• Contribute to patient safety initiatives and emergency department quality improvement
