Job description

EMEA Managing Director (Investment & Brokerage Platform)

The role can be based in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

The Role :

As the CEO for the Middle East of this fintech securities investment platform, you will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, growth, and profitability in the region.

Following the blueprint of the Headquarters based in Asia, the Regional Head has the opportunity to implement best practices from local offices in China & Singapore, and apply their local Middle East market & industry experience to build the business in this part of the world.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Leadership : Develop and execute a clear and compelling vision for the company.
  2. Retail Brokerage : Lead an inspired team of retail brokerage professionals.
  3. Stakeholder Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with users, investors, partners, and regulators.
  4. Public Relations : Be the face of the company in the Middle East, building a strong brand through industry events, high-level public appearances, etc.
  5. Team Building : Build and lead a high-performing leadership team.
  6. Business Growth : Drive revenue growth and profitability.
  7. Compliance : Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.

Ideal Candidate :

  1. At least 10 years of proven success in a leadership role within the financial services industry, preferably in retail.
  2. Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with stakeholders in both languages.
  3. Deep understanding of the retail investment landscape and emerging trends in the Middle East.
  4. Strong knowledge of financial regulations relevant to the Middle East, including regulatory and compliance frameworks.
  5. Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
