Job summary

Particle Measuring Systems, Inc. in Dresden, Germany, seeks an Applications Engineer to provide pre- and post-sales technical support for the Electronics Division.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with strong English communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Materials, Environmental, Engineering or related fields.
• 1–3 years experience in semiconductor/ultra-pure-water/gas delivery systems/facility monitoring or equivalent roles.
• Knowledge of semiconductor yield drivers, processes and materials desirable.
• Strong verbal, presentation, and documentation skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support with the sales team, including product presentations and technical discussions.
• Deliver demonstrations and evaluate new products and competitive solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales to deploy product commissioning and installation at customer sites.
• Develop and deliver internal and external training programs for new and existing product applications.
• Document tracking and collateral for internal and external marketing purposes.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety policies.
• Support CI analysis with Sales and Global AE teams to identify opportunities.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.
