Job summary

Al Tariq in Abu Dhabi seeks an Embedded Software Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in embedded software for aerospace systems. You will design, implement, test, and maintain safety-critical software.

You will work with DO-178C/DO-254 standards, C/C++, ARM and STM32 microcontrollers, and collaborate with hardware and QA teams to ensure deterministic, high-reliability results. Fast-moving, mission-critical environment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s/PhD preferred).
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in embedded software development, preferably within aerospace or safety-critical industries.
• Strong hands-on expertise in C and C++ for embedded systems, with low-level hardware interfacing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for avionics, flight control, and aerospace systems. Implement and optimize real-time software ensuring minimal latency, high reliability, and deterministic performance. Collaborate with system engineers to translate control algorithms and system requirements into efficient embedded code.
