Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) seeks a team-oriented FX & Rates professional to join the G10 desk. The role focuses on managing flow, taking measured risk across currencies, and supporting sales to enhance the FAB franchise in the MENA region.

The candidate should have 3–5 years in markets, strong numerical and analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and the ability to work under pressure. Travel and long shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics or Science.
• 3–5 years in markets with a proven teamwork record.
• Strong technical knowledge and risk management capability.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and Excel skills.
• Ability to work under extreme pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage risk within parameters to generate profits.
• Price deals to win and support the business.
• Maintain FAB’s market-making position in the MENA region.
• Prepare marketing materials and collaborate with distribution.
• Travel as necessary and cover long shifts.
• Generate trading ideas and write market updates.
• Engage with internal/external customers to price and execute trades.
