Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a dynamic FX & Rates professional to join the desk in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on managing flow, taking measured risk, and supporting sales across multiple currencies, with exposure to Sub-Saharan Africa and Egypt. You will be trained by the team and report to a currency head.

The position involves risk management, pricing, and maintaining FAB’s leadership in the region, with travel and long shifts as part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree level in Finance/Economics/Science.
• Experience: 3–5 years in markets.
• Proven teamwork.
• Proven risk management and financial performance.
• Strong technical skills and product knowledge.
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Managing Risk within given parameters and profitability.
• Pricing deals and supporting the business.
• Maintaining FAB’s position as a top market maker in the MENA region.
• Preparing marketing material and collaborating with distribution.
• Traveling as necessary and covering long shifts.
