Key Responsibilities
  • Installing, testing, and configuring ELV systems, including:
  • CCTV systems.
  • Access control systems (e.g., biometric and RFID).
  • Audio-visual systems (e.g., intercoms and PA systems).
  • Structured cabling for network and telecom systems.
  • Interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for precise installations.
  • Installing and configuring automatic sliding doors, gate barriers, and PAVA systems in line with project requirements and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Ensuring all installations meet safety standards and adhere to local regulations.
  • Conducting routine maintenance checks to optimize system performance and extend lifespan.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in systems to minimize downtime.
  • Testing all systems post-installation and repair to confirm functionality and reliability.
  • Maintaining detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs and providing updates to supervisors or project managers.
  • Offering technical support to clients, ensuring they understand the operation and maintenance of systems.
  • Responding promptly to service calls and resolving issues to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Conducting client training sessions on proper system usage.
  • Staying informed about the latest industry advancements and best practices for ELV systems.
  • Participating in workshops to enhance technical expertise.
  • Following organizational safety protocols and complying with health and safety regulations during all tasks.
  • Assisting team members when needed and being available for emergencies outside regular hours.
Qualifications
  • A Diploma or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in ELV systems, with expertise in PAVA systems, sliding gates, swing gates, and gate barrier systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and AutoCAD.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
  • Possession of a valid MCC and SIRA Technician Card (preferred but not mandatory).
Working Conditions

Work will generally take place during day shift hours; special circumstances may require weekend or shift work. Travel within the United Arab Emirates may be required. Work can occur indoors and outdoors, with extended periods of standing, lifting of heavy objects, or repetitive tasks and the use of lifts, ladders, or scaffolding. Use of hand and power tools may be required.
