Health 7 Careers presents a Consultant/Specialist Cardiothoracic Surgeon opportunity in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The role involves managing complex cardiac and thoracic cases in a multispecialty tertiary-care hospital with advanced surgical facilities.

The candidate will lead surgical procedures, oversee pre- and post-operative care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in clinical governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years post fellowship or board certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures including CABG and valve surgery.
• Conduct thoracic procedures such as lung resections and mediastinal surgeries.
• Utilize minimally invasive and robotic techniques where appropriate.
• Pre-operative evaluation and surgical planning for cardiac/thoracic patients.
• Provide post-operative care and ICU coordination.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and anesthesiologists for comprehensive management.
• Participate in heart-team discussions and multidisciplinary reviews.
