Health 7 Careers is recruiting for a Consultant/Specialist Cardiothoracic Surgeon at a prestigious tertiary-care hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role covers outpatient consultations, elective and emergency surgeries, and inpatient critical-care coordination within a growing cardiac-thoracic program.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years post specialist experience, with proficiency in CABG, valve procedures, thoracic surgery, and robotic-assisted techniques.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification.
• Experience in complex cardiac and thoracic procedures.
• Licensing eligibility with DOH/DHA/MOH in UAE.

Responsibilities

• Perform CABG, valve repair/replacement and complex cardiac surgeries.
• Carry out thoracic procedures including resections and mediastinal surgeries.
• Utilize minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques.
• Coordinate pre-operative evaluation and planning.
• Lead post-operative care and ICU collaboration.
• Engage in heart-team discussions and audits.
• Ensure infection control and surgical governance compliance.
