Job summary

The role involves installation checks, balance adjustments, and reporting on field tests. Applicants should be able to work with supervision and follow established OTIS procedures to maintain high reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow safety procedures at all times.
• Experience with elevator systems and related controls is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Set safety checks at all points before starting client-site work.
• Perform lubrication, testing and adjustments per OTIS standards.
• Check static balance and adjust counterweights as directed by supervisor.
• Test safety mechanisms and door operations for proper function.
• Inspect and clean motor pits, steps and related components as needed.
• Prepare installation inspection reports and field test data.
