Job summary

Lift Mart in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a skilled Draftsman to produce and manage CAD drawings for elevator and escalator projects, ensuring EN-81 compliance and accurate documentation.

You will coordinate with engineers and factories, prepare submissions, maintain logs, and support site teams with up-to-date drawings, contributing to smooth project execution and QA/QC alignment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Draftsman in elevator/escalator or related field.
• Strong CAD proficiency and knowledge of EN-81 elevator standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, version control and technical docs.
• Good communication and coordination with international factories and teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce CAD drawings for elevator and escalator projects from approved specs.
• Review and revise drawings for EN-81 compliance and project needs.
• Coordinate with engineers and factories to incorporate feedback into drawings.
• Maintain drawing logs, version control and submission records.
• Prepare and format submissions for consultants and contractors.
• Support site teams with updated drawings during installation.
• Ensure drawing packages meet QA/QC requirements before handover.
