The Elementary Homeroom Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate instruction based on the American curriculum. The Elementary Homeroom Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate instruction based on the American curriculum. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in core subjects (English, Math, Science, and Moral, Social and Cultural Studies) aligned with the American curriculum standards for English, Math & Science, as well as MOE standards for MSCS.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and ensure accelerated learning and outstanding student achievement.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Provide timely feedback to students and parents, maintaining open communication.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
• Integrate technology effectively to support learning.
• Maintain accurate student records, lesson plans, and progress reports.
• Participate in school events, professional development, and extracurricular activities as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a related subject with a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an elementary setting, preferably in an American curriculum school.
• Experience in Dubai or the UAE, with knowledge of KHDA requirements.
• Valid Teaching License.
• Excellent knowledge of American curriculum standards (e.g., Common Core, NGSS).
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
• Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
• Passion for teaching, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with student-centered, inquiry-based learning approaches.
• Professional development in American curriculum frameworks.
• Knowledge of using AI in education.
