We are looking for a skilled Electronics Service and Repair Technician with hands-on experience in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing sound systems, lighting equipment, and related electronics used in live events. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to deliver under time-sensitive conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair faults in audio equipment (mixers, amplifiers, microphones, speakers, etc.) and lighting systems (LEDs, moving heads, DMX controllers, smoke/haze machines, etc.)
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and equipment testing
  • Replace defective components including PCB-level repairs, soldering, and wiring
  • Maintain detailed logs of service, repairs, and inventory
  • Occasionally support on-site event equipment servicing

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in electronics repair, especially sound and lighting systems
  • Strong knowledge of analog/digital audio systems and lighting control protocols (e.g., DMX, Art-Net)
  • Skilled in using diagnostic tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering irons
  • Ability to read circuit diagrams, schematics, and service manuals
  • Familiarity with brands such as Yamaha, RCF, Shure, JBL, EV, QSC, Chauvet is preferred
  • Diploma/Certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar field is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
